The Democratic Party has a long history of abuses against women. But this man isn’t a Democrat.
Of course, he’s not a Republican, either. Although, being from Texas, you’d be forgiven if you assumed that he was.
But he’s not. He’s not really anything politically. He just lives close to the border, has internet access, and is strong and handsome enough to seduce unsuspecting women to be sex slaves for him.
In short, he’s like one of hundreds of thousands of people in the US. And you should know how he works, just in case you run into another like him.

U.S. District Judge Melinda Harmon sentenced Antonio Rasheed Benjamin, a.k.a. “Papi P,” to 30 years in federal prison for trafficking minor girls to perform commercial sex acts. Benjamin, 22, pleaded guilty. He must serve 10 years of supervised release after completing his time behind bars.

There’s a disturbing pattern to each one of these thugs. It helps to know what it is.
First, there’s recruiting: the pimp will find poor girls from struggling families, and promise them a better life if they just come work with him. Or he’ll find middle-class girls who are rebelling against their families, and promise them they can make it on their own.
Whatever the specifics, the general case is the same each time: find someone no one will miss, outside of that girl’s immediate circle.
After that comes the parts that are hard to hear: the thug/pimp breaks the will of each girl he’s lured away. Maybe it’s with violence, or sexual assault, or threats on their families. Whatever evil it takes.
[One] minor victim had unprotected sex with Benjamin, who also physically assaulted her. The other victim told investigators that the girls who stripped in clubs for him had to make $100 a night or “there were consequences.”
He often left his victims stranded in unknown locations. One of the girls recounted an incident in which Benjamin punched her in the chest and said it hurt for days. Apparently, he knew both were minors.
Let’s be clear, too – while sex with a minor is a crime by itself, the fact that both girls were minors means one very important thing: Benjamin was looking for women he could control. And Younger usually means ‘more easily intimidated.’
In short, this wasn’t just about pimping young women. This was about preying on the weakest, and keeping absolute control over them.

It’s the same with all traffickers.
So, for what it’s worth, to all men: raise strong daughters. Talk to them always. Teach them how to handle a firearm.
And always let them know they can walk away from a situation, and call for help.
