In last night’s address to the Joint Sessions of Congress, President Donald Trump opened his remarks by acknowledging February as Black History Month and honoring those African Americans who contributed to our society and country.
Donald Trump has a great history among the black community of American, but you wouldn’t know that if you believe the mainstream media.
They have painted him out to be a racist and white supremacist, calling him everything including Hitler.

But the reality is over the course of his long career he has looked after the black community and has vowed as President to rebuild our inner cities and stem the unchecked violence in our streets.
This includes supporting and equipping our police departments with the authority to combat crime and destroy the gangs that are running parts of our cities.

President Trump’s Attorney General Jeff Sessions just reversed the bigotry and bias against law enforcement officers that Barack Obama introduced into our society during his presidency.
Sessions, taking his marching orders from Trump, just announced that they are abandoning Obama’s “tactic of suing police departments for violating the civil rights of minorities.”
Translation: No longer will there be a rush to judgment, assuming a cop is guilty if he shoots a minority.
“We need, so far as we can, to help police departments get better, not diminish their effectiveness. And I’m afraid we’ve done some of that,” said Attorney General Jeff Sessions…
NBC News reports, Sessions said such a move would not be ‘wrong or insensitive to civil rights or human rights.’
Instead, he said people in poor and minority communities must feel free from the threat of violent crime, which will require more effective policing with help from the federal government.
During Obama’s presidency, there was a marked disregard for the lives and service of our police officers.
Criminals were hailed as martyrs and good cops were vilified, as the president spewed irresponsible rhetoric. Obama only helped fan the flames of injustice, empowering radical activists to declare war on our police forces.
All that is over, now that we have a president and attorney general who will work with cops rather than against them. Police will no longer be branded as the enemy, but respected and freed to do their jobs.
That is the first and vital step in cleaning up our inner cities and bringing an end to the rampant crime.
