WHAT?! Americans Pissed To Discover This High Ranking Official Isn’t A U.S. Citizen

One of the biggest lies liberals can tell you is this: ‘our immigration system isn’t broken, and doesn’t need fixing.’ And today, I have the ultimate proof.

We’re used to seeing illegal immigrants at work in lower-level jobs, where it’s easier to hide from authorities – day laborers, meat-packing plants, and what have you. It’s nothing to do with intelligence or ability, and everything to do with employers. Simply put, guys who hire day laborers don’t usually ask about immigration status.

Well, even some much higher-up government officials don’t ask about status. And some employees of those government officials don’t say anything to give themselves away. Even one of those illegal employees is a Texas judge.

Seriously. A judge in Texas is an illegal immigrant. I couldn’t make this up if I tried.

The Daily Caller reports:

City officials in Texas temporarily removed a municipal judge from the bench Wednesday after learning that she never received U.S. citizenship after becoming a legal permanent resident in 2007.

When the city council discovered that her original application to the bench didn’t indicate whether or not she was a citizen, they placed Young Min Burkett, a judge in Corpus Christi, Texas, on unpaid leave.

Now, I’d like to point something out here – the Daily Caller does make sure that you understand that this was something of an accident. And they’re right – Judge Burkett didn’t mean to deceive anyone. She just didn’t see the appropriate error on her paperwork.

…the application only asked whether the candidate was eligible for legal employment in the state, according to City Councilman Rudy Garza Jr.

“The error was a city error and we don’t feel Judge Burkett was insincere or did anything in her application or interview that led to any dishonesty on her part,” Garza said Wednesday.

Burkett wasn’t being dishonest. But that’s kind of the point – because here, in the middle of the most conservative part of the country, a woman who’s not even trying to lie can end up a high-placed official as an illegal. And all without even trying.

In short, all you have to do in this country to make it as an illegal is make a mistake in your paperwork. You don’t even have to be a bad guy.

And you still don’t want to tell me that our immigration system is broken, liberals?

It’s one thing if bad men and women do their best to undermine the system, putting their heads together to con the US.

It’s another thing if we can mis-check something, and still break the entire system.

It needs fixing. It needs Trump. It’s about time.
