The Senate Just Announced Probe Into The 2016 Election Behavior Of A Major Democrat

After James Comey testified to Congress, the Senate has been investigating many different people for corruption, including Trump himself. And at least one other very important person.

With Trump, it’s not likely the investigation will get very far. Too much of it has been a witch hunt already, and nearly the entire process has been discredited.

But at least a few Congressmen are still honest and bipartisan. Because one investigation in particular is focusing on a darling of the Left and Democrats. But rather than being cut off and stonewalled, the investigation into Loretta Lynch is still going on.

Which, forgive me, is just great news.

The Washington Times reports:

The Senate Judiciary Committee has opened a probe into former Attorney General Loretta E. Lynch’s efforts to shape the FBI’s investigation into 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, the committee’s chairman announced Friday.

In a letter to Ms. Lynch, the committee asks her to detail the depths of her involvement in the FBI’s investigation, including whether she ever assured Clinton confidantes that the probe wouldn’t “push too deeply into the matter.”

Let’s back up – if you recall, James Comey was investigating Hillary’s use of a private server and her handling of classified emails, all while the election was going on.

Conservatives suspected that Obama’s attorney general, Loretta Lynch, was corrupt, and protecting the Clintons from the investigation. But they had no proof.

That is, until Comey testified before Congress, when he told the world that Lynch asked him to refer to the investigation as a “matter” and not an “investigation.”

Which, as it happens, would make the FBI’s discussion of the ‘investigation’ sound exactly like the Democratic Party’s discussion of it. And which makes the whole thing sound far less serious than it was.

Fired FBI Director James B. Comey has said publicly that Ms. Lynch tried to shape the way he talked about the investigation into Mrs. Clinton’s emails, and he also hinted at other behavior “which I cannot talk about yet” that made him worried about Ms. Lynch’s ability to make impartial decisions.

It turns out that conservatives were right.

Luckily for us, a few good politicians are finally investigating the right people.

Sen. Charles E. Grassley…Sen. Dianne Feinstein…Sens. Lindsey Graham, and Sheldon Whitehouse…

That’s a healthy mix of Democrats and Republicans.

More power to them, for finally rooting out the real corruption in Washington.
