After Days Of Silence U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions Makes Stunning Confession About His Position

Donald Trump has a lot of reasons to be furious these days – and his allies aren’t making it any easier.

Tally up the lazy Republicans and traitorous Democrats Trump is dealing with, and you’ll see. Republicans are refusing to repeal Obamacare. Or replace Obamacare. Sanctuary cities are refusing to cooperate with the Justice Department.

And, all the while, Democrats are screaming ‘Russia!’ and pointing wherever they can, just to distract from their own ineptitude.

Now, if government were a business, this would be easy – Trump just says, ‘you’re fired!’ and the Swamp is Drained. But this is Washington. Not everyone can be fired.

Which means, unfortunately, that Jeff Sessions will still be making problems for Trump for months and years to come. Because he just said he’s not going anywhere.

MSN reports:

Attorney General Jeff Sessions has no intention of quitting, a U.S. official said, despite President Donald Trump excoriating him over his decision to recuse himself from the probe into Russian meddling in the 2016 election.

Sessions, 70, drew the ire of the president after he stepped away from the investigation in March.

If you’ve forgotten why Trump is angry with Sessions, remember this: Sessions decided to recuse himself from any investigation into the Russian Witch Hunt – that same Democratic witch hunt that’s dominating politics these days. The same one that’s preventing any progress being made.

Sessions would have had the power to crush the investigation before it got going. But instead, he pulled away from it. Which means he aided Democrat obstruction, instead of stopping it.

It should be obvious that Trump was a little more than pissed.

“Sessions should have never recused himself, and if he was going to recuse himself, he should have told me before he took the job and I would have picked somebody else,” Trump told the New York Times on Wednesday. “It’s extremely unfair, and that’s a mild word, to the president.”

‘Unfair,’ indeed. Trump now has to deal with partisan lies and logical idiots, when he could be repealing Obamacare, creating jobs, and protecting our borders.

And all because Sessions isn’t doing his job. Or leaving, to let someone else come in and do his job.

True friends are revealed in moments of crisis. Sessions isn’t one of those true friends.
