Russia Under Missile Attack?! Guess Who’s Behind it?!

After Trump hit Syria with tomahawk missiles and sent a message to dictators everywhere, Russia was nothing less than royally pissed. And now they’re getting hit with missiles themselves.

(In case you need to catch up, Syria and Russia are great friends. In part, of course, because one of Russia’s biggest naval ports is in Syria, and Putin would absolutely love to keep it. If Trump hits Syria, Trump hits Russia by default. And all those ‘election collusion’ lies go right out the window.)

Russia, however, isn’t mad at the US for this latest round of missiles. In fact, Putin’s probably ready to team up with the US as we speak. Because those missiles? They’re not from us, or from Syria. They’re from North Korea.

Kim Jong-un seems determined to rid himself of any friends in the world.

The Conservative Tribune reports:

In its latest lashing out amid tensions with the United States and its allies, North Korea recently launched a ballistic missile that landed too-close-for-comfort to one major world power — Russia.

Kim Jong Un’s weapon was fired 500 miles from North Korea into the Sea of Japan. U.S. officials said the flight landed offshore just 60 miles south of Russia’s port of Vladivostok, which houses the country’s Pacific Fleet.

The worst part about this? We can’t tell exactly what type of missile it is – which means it could be something entirely new.

…the flight was not consistent with an intercontinental ballistic missile, although Japan’s defense minister Tomomi Inada said there was a possibility that it was a new type of ballistic missile.

New weaponry, and the inability to control yourself. Kim Jong-un is firing on all cylinders.

Mind you, there’s some disagreement about just how close the missile was. Russia’s calculations are either way off (by about 250 miles), or ours are way off. Or, in all likelihood, ours are right, and Russia is just lying to save face.

Because no one respects a government or a president who admits that ‘yes, the missiles came right up along our shores,’ and then turns around and does nothing. Best to lie about it, and bide your time.

Which looks to be exactly what Putin is doing.

Putin spoke strongly against North Korea’s nuclear testing.

“I would like to confirm that we are categorically against the expansion of the club of nuclear states, including through the Korean Peninsula. We are against it and consider it counterproductive, damaging, dangerous.”

Hardly fighting words, Mr. Putin. But I’m guessing you’re just waiting for the right moment.
