Over the last few months we’ve heard about people in the “Deep state” attacking President Trump. These are high-ranking officials working in such agencies like the CIA and the FBI. Using their power, they have leaked classified details about private meetings. Their hopes were to spread rumors through the press to turn the people against our president.
The latest shakeup in D.C. has only highlighted the ongoing conspiracy against our president. The left continues to spread untrue rumors. The media elite distort and lie. And now we are learning a very powerful figure might have been laying the groundwork against Trump all along.

Former FBI Director James Comey may have been building a legal case against President Donald Trump well before the president fired him on May 9, according to a former Department of Justice (DOJ) spokesperson.
Matthew Miller, who served as the DOJ’s Director of the Office of Public Affairs under former Attorney General Eric Holder, suggested that Comey may have been building an obstruction of justice case against the president, in an interview with the Washington Post.
Miller’s suggestion carries weight not just because of his extensive background at DOJ and in government, but also because he predicted that Comey left a paper trail of his interactions with Trump…
He explained that when Trump allegedly made the request to end the investigation of Flynn in February, Comey could have immediately warned the president that the conversation was inappropriate and that a request like that should never be made again.
“But if you’re trying to build an obstruction-of-justice case, you might want the president to keep talking, because everything he does is digging a deeper legal hole for himself,” Miller suggested.
He also speculated that Comey may have stayed on, instead of resigning as Trump’s FBI director, in order to dig that hole a little deeper. “Comey might have wanted him to keep talking to see what he says,” he posited.
Pretty underhanded stuff. But Comey has always had a reputation of working against his leaders. Even under Obama, Comey consistently said and did things that contradicted the White House.
It’s very possible that he was looking for evidence to turn against the president. While we know that Trump did nothing illegal, it would be very easy for someone like Comey to leak details that would be distorted by the media. The left wouldn’t need much excuse to blow it out of proportion to cause controversy.
Comey was a power-hungry, glory seeker, who put his career and fame above the law and justice. He abused the office and played political games. When the president finally told him it was time to go, he “leaked” memos that made Trump look bad.
It’s clear that Comey has been a villain all along. But what else might come out in the future? What other misleading pieces of data might Comey leak that could give the left reason to attack Trump?
We just might have to wait and see.
