As we watch the Congressional confirmation hearings for President-elect Trump’s cabinet, speculation is high over his pick for the Supreme Court.
Trump made promises during the campaign to place conservative judges on the highest court in the country, people who would overturn such controversial rulings and Roe v Wade. He will most certainly pick judges that will defend Second Amendment rights.
Over the course of the transition, we’ve learned very little about his picks for the Court, but we are now learning about possible contenders to replace legendary Justice, Antonin Scalia.

President-elect Donald Trump “has met with one of the judges on his short list for potential Supreme Court nominees, less than two weeks before he is expected to announce his choice for the nation’s highest court,” the AP reports.
“Judge William Pryor, an Alabama-based judge on the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, met with Trump in New York on Saturday, said two people familiar with the meeting. They spoke on condition of anonymity because the meeting had not been publicly announced.”
The selection of Supreme Court justices is perhaps one of the most important responsibilities a President can have. Justices don’t have term limits; they serve on the Supreme Court for their entire lives, unless they choose to retire for personal reasons.
Had Hillary been elected, we could have seen a radically liberal Supreme Court in the coming years. Their toxic influence would ruin our nation for 25-30 years.
Thankfully, we never have to fear that happening. Trump’s pick will protect the Constitution, defend the Bill of Rights, and perhaps overturn gross violations of human rights that currently exist.
