Obama was just caught red-handed in more lies. And these might cost the US billions of dollars.
This is becoming an everyday occurrence it seems.
Telling the truth about Global Warming, or the lack thereof, is a little old hat nowadays. Sure, we could go over the facts, and over the trends, and show quite clearly that the whole thing is a fraud.
Or we could just repeat, over and over again, ‘Global Warming is a fraud. It’s a big government fraud. Fraud, fraud, fraud.’
And so forth. But nothing really seems to pierce the liberal Safe Space Fact-Free Bubble.
But maybe this will. An Obama staffer just went on record to say this: Obama flat-out lied about climate studies, and he did it for one purpose, and one purpose only – to manipulate public opinion.
In short, a liberal president lied about Global Warming, to make people think they were in danger, so they’d give up more of their economic freedom to the government. Which is – forgive me – exactly what we’ve been saying is going on, all along.
The Libertarian Republic reports:
A former member of the Obama administration claims Washington D.C. often uses “misleading” news releases about climate data to influence public opinion.
Former Energy Department Undersecretary Steven Koonin [said] that bureaucrats within former President Barack Obama’s administration spun scientific data to manipulate public opinion.
“What you saw coming out of the press releases about climate data, climate analysis, was, I’d say, misleading, sometimes just wrong,” Koonin said, referring to elements within the Obama administration he said were responsible for manipulating climate data.
Koonin interviewed with the Wall Street Journal this week, and exposed the entire history of lies and manipulation.
And boy, does he list off a lot of doozies and lies.
There’s hurricanes, for example. Liberals want you to believe that hurricane activity is increasing.
And it has – if you mean ‘in the past decade.’ But if you mean ‘in the past century,’ you’d be wrong – hurricanes are decreasing overall. Obama left that last part out.
And then he presented the false data to the public to push for global warming reforms.
These lies can’t go unpunished. Luckily for us, conservative lawmakers are all over this one.
House lawmakers with the Committee on Science, Space and Technology recently jumpstarted an investigation into NOAA [the National Oceanic Administration] after a whistleblower said agency scientists rushed a landmark global warming study to influence policymakers.
Texas Republican Rep. Lamar Smith, the committee’s chairman, will “move forward as soon as possible” in asking NOAA to hand over documents included in a 2015 subpoena.
Taking Global Warming to court? Count me in.
It’s just too bad we can’t take Obama, too.
