Dad Finds His Honor Student Planning MASS School Shooting — This Is What He Does First

Many of us remember the terrible string of school shootings that occurred in American during the late 90’s.

The worst one took place in April, 1999, in Columbine, when two students murdered 12 people and injured 21 more.

Since those days we’ve seen similar acts of wanton death in the United States and around the world.

We are forced to wonder why a young person — someone who is still maturing and learning about the world — would choose to commit such terrible crimes.

It has sparked political debate about the role of guns in our society. But rarely have we seen lasting solutions that actually confront the problem.

When do we see our legislators and leaders address the crisis that exists in our homes and families?

When do they talk about how our culture has declined in recent decades, the result of parents breaking up and abandoning common values and morals?

Today you can argue our society is much worse, thanks to the decline of our pop culture and the rise of unrestrained media online.

The traditional family is battered and all but neglected and our children are the ones suffering.

So it comes as no surprise that stories like this are appearing.

Nichole Cevario, 18, was allegedly planning a deadly school shooting event at Catoctin High School, in Thurmont, Maryland. She was pulled out of class by Frederick County police on Thursday. Officials found explosive materials in her home (pictured)

From Daily Mail:

An eighteen-year-old girl will face charges for having a stockpile of weapons and explosive materials that she intended to use for a school shooting.

Nichole Cevario was allegedly planning a deadly attack on her high school and had acquired a shotgun and bomb-making materials, before the 18-year-old was pulled out of class by Frederick County police on Thursday.

The honor student is currently being held for emergency mental evaluation after the teenager’s parent tipped off authorities about her plot on Catoctin High School, in Thurmont, Maryland.

The honor student also had a shotgun and ammunition, which she was reportedly intending to use in the attack. Cevario had kept an in-depth journal of her plot on a specific day in April, according to police

Officials found a journal filled with an in-depth plan about the April attack, containing information on the school officer and emergency school procedures, according to police on Monday.

Police found a shotgun and ammunition, along with bomb-making materials, including pipes with end caps, shrapnel, fireworks, magnesium tape and fuse material.

It’s clear this was not a spur-of-the-moment idea, but something long in the making, a plan she had been developing for some time.

What’s also chilling is the fact she had planned the attack in April, perhaps to commemorate the Columbine attack from eighteen years ago.

How does an honor student, someone about to graduate, plan to attack and even kill her fellow students and teachers?

The bomb-making materials included pipes with end caps, shrapnel, fireworks, magnesium tape and fuse material (pictured)

Police are insistent that the girl was suffering from mental illness, but why wasn’t it caught long before this?

According to reports, she acted alone and had yet to bring any weapons into the school. But we are forced to consider, who else in this nation is suffering in a similar way and are planning their own acts of aggression?
