The Left is busy writing checks it can’t cash. As usual.
We’re all familiar with the fake outrage, petty grudges, and childish behavior of liberals and Democrats, be it throwing a tantrum on the floor of the House of Representatives (sit-in, anyone?) or threatening to filibuster Trump’s legitimate and legal efforts to repeal the travesty that is Obamacare. They do whatever they can, however they can, to obstruct America’s progress, the rule of law and order, and the safety of American citizens.
If you were waiting for a break, you’re going to be disappointed. They’re at it again.
A group of prominent Marxists, communists, racists, and idiots are ready to protest the nomination of Senator Jeff Sessions for Attorney General in the Trump administration. And their tactics of harassment and intimidation are ready to go – marches that block off the streets, surprise thug visits to congressional offices, and ambushes galore. And all to protest a man who, after successfully defending himself from charges of ‘racism’ during his time serving Alabama, went on to create one of the most exemplary civil rights record for his state that the US has seen in decades.
Sessions, see, is not racist – far from it. He’s just tough on crime. And that, take note, is what the Left doesn’t like. After all, if you’re tough on crime, you’re probably arresting a lot of liberals.
You’ll recognize the names involved in this absurdity…same old, same old. From RightWing News: “Sharpton will lead a protest over the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday weekend… He’s joined by communist Cornell William Brooks, president and CEO of the NAACP and Janet Murguia, president and CEO of the National Council of La Raza. If you are known by the company you keep, then these three amigos should tell you all you need to know.”
Two racists and a communist? This is an impressive list to defy Trump’s choice to enforce the rule of law.
Sharpton’s laundry list of threats against congressmen willing to take a stand for Trump and Sessions will likely fizzle out in a few weeks – liberals are terrible at following through on threats that require real work. It’s one reason why so many of them have so much time to protest – the rest of us have to get back to actual jobs.
Still, any group that has spent a lifetime of race-baiting, condemning white people, segregating themselves, and blaming others for their problems should be taken at least a little seriously when they threaten law enforcement and federal officials. And Sharpton has promised this very thing.
And that, by itself, should be a good enough reason to cheer Jeff Sessions.
