You know you’re doing something right when you make a lot of enemies – especially enemies like this one.
To be fair, the real quote is, “You have enemies? Good. That means you’ve stood up for something, sometime in your life.” It’s Winston Churchill, who had his own share of problems with terrorists and dictators. And wuss leaders who paved the way for them. History on repeat.
Trump is making enemies for all the right reasons, and we’ve covered most of them – Paul Ryan and his sabotage, James Comey and his cowardice, and Democrat leaders of sanctuary cities. But one of the most dangerous ones has been hiding. And most of us thought he had disappeared for good.
Well, he hasn’t. Barack Obama is back with a new agenda, and this time, it’s all anti-Trump.
The New York Times reports:
Barack Obama’s extended post-presidential vacation is about to end. After spending weeks in French Polynesia — including time on the yacht of the movie mogul David Geffen along with Bruce Springsteen, Tom Hanks and Oprah Winfrey — Mr. Obama will return to Chicago on Monday for his first public event as a former president.
Nothing says ‘I don’t get middle America at all’ like yachting with rich liberal snobs in foreign ports.
But that aside, Obama’s set up for a whirlwind tour – “an awards ceremony in Boston; a series of public remarks as well as private paid speeches in the United States and Europe; and an appearance at the Brandenburg Gate in Germany with Chancellor Angela Merkel.”
Paid speeches, and Angela Merkel? It’s like he’s trying to be Hillary.
Now, speeches and tour dates might sound innocent enough. But this is Obama. And it’s the start of campaigning for the midterms.
So, we have a true Trump-and-America hater making a bunch of speeches…right before people are starting to think about voting.
Yeah, I think we can all put two and two together.
The Conservative Tribune hit the nail on the head:
Nobody’s fooled by Obama’s rhetoric, but right now he is the most powerful weapon the Democrats have against Trump.
They have been chomping at the bit for him to come back into the fray, and now that he is, he will do everything he can to undermine the president — as long as it doesn’t involve a direct confrontation, because we all know Obama would never take on Trump face-to-face.
Well, welcome to the fight, President Obama.
You’re going to get you’re a** handed to you.
