The fake liberal hullabaloo about ‘fake news’ and ‘Russian hackers’ just blew up in the Democrats’ faces, big-time.
After all, none of them suspected that one of their own would fall for it in such a spectacular way. And the best part? He’s already gotten his punishment, from President Trump himself.
Because, honestly – who would have thought that former and fired FBI director James Comey could fall for fake Russian news?
And, given how many Democrats keep pushing that dumb story…well, who would have thought that Comey could be fired by Trump for acting upon that very news?
This story is too good. Let’s back up. Liberal CNN reports:
Then-FBI Director James Comey knew that a critical piece of information relating to the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s email was fake — created by Russian intelligence — but he feared that if it became public it would undermine the probe and the Justice Department itself.
Just so we’re clear – we’re talking about something relating to Comey’s firing. Trump let him go because, among other things, Comey decided to end the Criminal Clinton Email Scandal investigation early. Without pursuing criminal charges. Without any advice from superiors. Without, mind you, any real authority to do so.
So…why would he do that? The answer, as it turns out, is a piece of Russian intel that came the FBI’s way.
The Russian intelligence at issue purported to show that then-Attorney General Lynch had been compromised in the Clinton investigation. The intelligence described emails between then-Democratic National Committee Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz and a political operative suggesting that Lynch would make the FBI investigation of Clinton go away.
In short – the FBI was listening in to Russian intelligence, and they found out that AG liberal Loretta Lynch was going to make Hillary’s problems disappear.
Now, that looks bad. But it also wasn’t true – at least, that’s the current theory.
Because Russia knows we listen in on her communications, just like she does with us. So the FBI simply thought that Russia was trying to trick them.
And, apparently, Comey knew the intel was fake, but couldn’t say why. If he did, he’d have to explain how he knew…which would reveal some spies in the field. Which would make their lives much more dangerous.
So Comey just ended the investigation, before the intel was revealed.
Which should tell us a few things:
One – Russian tricksters and trolls can effectively control the director of the FBI.
Two – far from electing Trump, Russian hackers basically got Hillary off, scot-free.
(Read that again. Let it sink in.)
Three – the highest law enforcement in the US let a criminal go based on a web rumor.
Anyone doubt that he should have been fired?
